Naturally, we hope that you will never be involved in an accident, but if you are then we intend to make the procedure as simple as possible. In all cases both MNH Platinum and your company need to be informed as soon as possible.

If your company has opted for the Accident Management service from MNH Platinum, then please contact one of our Claim Handlers who will be happy to take your call and advise you of the best course of action. Please refer to your Vehicle details section at the rear of your handbook, or contact MNH Platinum on 01254 244166.

Should the accident be serious and involve damage to another vehicle(s) or injury to another person(s), then we need to be informed of the full details. We will then work with your company to ensure that you are motoring again as quickly as is possible. In the case of all accidents please refer to the following procedures:

• Please ensure you are at a safe distance away from the incident.
• Stop the vehicle where it is safe to do so.
• Exchange all details
• Name and address of the driver(s) involved.
• Vehicle details; Make, Model & Registration Number.
• Report all accidents to the Police within 24 hours where there is risk of an injury. You must insist that the Police complete an Accident Report, as this will be requested by your Insurance Company, and its omission could potentially jeopardise subsequent claims.
• Inform the Police immediately where;
• Particulars have not been exchanged for any reason.
• Third party vehicles have failed to stop.
• People are seriously injured.
• You may be required to produce documentation to the Police, which you must do within 7 days.
A driver is obliged by law to adhere to only the above particulars.
• Never admit liability for an accident in any way.
• Obtain names and addresses of any witnesses to the accident.
• Where you have been involved in a severe accident, ensure you attend a local Hospital for examination of any injuries.
